Scotland To Take On Finland

Last updated : 03 February 2005 By Ed_ScottishFitba

Finland is the destination for the Scotland Under 19 women’s team next week as they prepare to play two friendlies against their hosts. The games are part of the preparation for the UEFA qualifiers in April.

The games will be played in the Tali Indoor Stadium in
Helsinki, on Wednesday and Friday next week. The games give coach Tony Gervaise a further opportunity to prepare the players for the crucial trip to Portugal at the end of April. Scotland face the hosts, Belgium and Israel in a final qualifying tournament. The prize for winning the group would be a place in the tournament finals for the first time ever.
