Scotland finished their group stage of the Ballymena Tournament with three points thanks to three 1-1 draws against USA, Republic of Ireland and last night the Czech Republic. This meant that the Under 16 side finished in third place and will now play Finland in a play-off for fifth place on Friday. In last night's game the Czechs took the lead when Petr Kucera converted a left-wing cross after eight minutes into the second half. Hearts' David Love scored the equaliser just two minutes later minute with a brave header.
Scotland meet Finland on Friday for the Larne Shield, with the game taking off at Larne Tech Old Boys at 2:00pm. The final is an all-Irish affair, with Northern Ireland meeting the Republic of Ireland at Ballymena Showgrounds on Friday evening.
