It had to be a great defensive performance from the youngsters at Ballymena Showgrounds. Although Scotland made few chances, mostly from set pieces, they can take great satisfaction from the way the defenders nullified the Spanish attack. One shot was cleared off the line, but otherwise the Spanish were restricted to a couple of chances. This allows Scotland to go into their next game, against hosts Northern Ireland this evening, in good spirits. | ||
