The SFA have pushed the boat out to make sure the Under 20s squad have a quality hotel to stay in when in Victoria for their Group F games in the World Cup. The delegation will travel on Monday and be unpacking in the Laurel Point Inn hotel which is situated on Laurel Point, a six-acre park peninsula on the Inner Harbour in downtown Victoria, British Columbia.

Scotland squads and water are not a good combination

Scotland play two games in Victoria (against Japan and Nigeria) before their final Group F game (against Costa Rica) which will be played in Vancouver. New match venue, new hotel. In Vancouver, Scotland will be staying in the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown which is about 10 minutes walking distance from the Swanguard Stadium, and about 5 minutes by bus.

If Scotland top Group F the squad will be heading back to Victoria for their next game which is to be played on Wednesday 11 July, with an 8.15 pm (local time) kick-off. If Scotland finish second they will be travelling across the country to Ottawa for a game which will kick-off at 4.45 pm (local time), on Thursday 12 July. If Scotland qualifies by being one of the four best third placed teams, they could either be playing in Toronto on 11 July, with a 7.45 pm (local time) kick-off or in Montreal on 12 July, with a 7.45pm (local time) kick-off.
