Three New Players Called Up By Levein

Scotland national manager Craig Levein has called up Cameron Bell, Don Cowie and Kevin McNaughton to his squad ahead of the EURO2012 qualifying double-header against the Czech Republic and Spain. Kilmarnock goalkeeper Bell, called up for the first time, replaces Matt Gilks who was sent home to Blackpool after failing to shrug off a dead leg. Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor is due to have a scan on a niggling thigh injury but he is not a doubt for Friday's game in Prague.

Ibrox defender Kirk Broadfoot, though, left the Scotland camp earlier in the day with a foot injury which led to Cardiff full-back McNaughton getting called to report to the squad camp. And although Lee McCulloch is suspended for the first game, he is also carrying a hip knock which led to manager Craig Levein calling up Watford midfielder Cowie.
