Second Piece Of Good News For The Jags

Partick Thistle are in line for a second piece of ‘return from injury’ good news following Jackie McNamara’s return to action after six months out of action. Club captain Alan Archibald, who has been out of action since the end of March thanks to a knee injury, looks to be part of the squad to be involved in a bounce game against St Mirren this week.

Jags assistant boss Ian Maxwell said: “We are aiming to give Alan 45 minutes in the game and step things up from there. We are looking to have Alan back in the first team squad before the end of September."
