The Lithuanian Football Federation has confirmed that their EURO2012 home game against Scotland will be played at the S Dariaus ir S Gireno Stadium in Kaunas on 3 September. This will be the first opportunity for Craig Levein to be judged on a competitive basis as the national coach. The Lithuanians have yet to announce when the game will kick off. However, there will be more than the official number of Scottish fans at the game. The SFA has managed to negotiate a total of 2,800 tickets for Scotland supporters, despite the official ticket allocation for the 9,180 capacity stadium being around just 800. Fans are advised to buy their tickets through the Scotland Supporters Club after the SFA were advised that unauthorised agencies are offering ticket and travel packages designed for Scotland supporters. The Lithuanian Football Federation cannot guarantee the validity of these tickets because they will not be in the sections assigned to Scotland fans |
