Glasgow City forward Sophia Martin has joined fellow Scottish Women's Premier League side Montrose on loan for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
The 17-year-old striker, who in 2023 because the youngest Scottish female to sign professional terms, scored her first City goal in a Sky Sports Cup Quarter Final against Glasgow Women in 2022 and has gone on to represent the Original Trailblazers on 21 occasions, scoring three times.
Martin has been a regular member of the matchday squad this term and featured as a substitute against Queen's Park in November. A Scotland youth international, she will join Academy prospect Rachel Murchie at Links Park for what will be a competitive second half of the campaign for the Angus side.
This moves allow Martin to continue her development with regular first-team action in the Scottish top flight.
