Fulton’s new contract will see her stay at City until the summer of 2025. The midfielder signed in December 2019 and has made 91 appearances in all competitions in her three and a half years at the club, placing her in the top 30 all-time appearance makers for Glasgow City. Fulton featured 33 times this season, scoring three goals and helping City secure the SWPL title with 12 assists including a crucial one for Priscila Chinchilla’s goal against Celtic in March. Those performances earned Fulton a place in the PFA Team of the Year. The SWPL Player of the Month for February has won two SWPL titles in her time so far at City.
Commenting on her new deal, Fulton said: "I’m delighted to have signed a new contract with a club that now feels like home! Myself and the squad want to build on the SWPL title and continue to win silverware."
Head Coach Leanne Ross said: “It comes as welcome news to everyone at the club that Maddie has signed an extension to her contract. Not only is Maddie a fans’ favourite but she is extremely popular in the dressing room and someone we know we can rely on to deliver performances on the pitch. Maddie is a leader, someone who drives the standards every day. She played a massive role in our title winning season and will I’m sure return next season hungry to achieve more success with this club."
